I have lived in SWFL since 1985 so we have bought many, many tickets over the years and suggest it to lots of visitors as an overnight getaway from Naples. Something to consider as this is usually a fun trip for our family. When you fly you obtain boarding passes at each leg not at initial Check in. It seems crazy to me that there is such a fee & if a fee is necessary $25 EACH seems steep. ![]() I said “that’s fine b/c I have to get home”. Finally he said oh yes, I can do that for $25 each. Again I was told that I should have them. I simply asked if they could be printed out again as I DID NOT have them. I said that maybe I was but it was early and 4 days ago so I don’t know. All 3 people started telling us that we were definitely told that they were needed. I said that I hadn’t realized that so could they reprint them from my email/booking # which I showed him. Key West Ferries refunded a chunk of our claim but withheld a 'convenience fee' of $6.00 per traveller. Anyway, we had to claim a refund and go to the trouble of hiring a car to drive from Key West to Fort Myers. We received this message while lying on a beach in Key West so this was a puzzling prediction (the weather the following day was relatively clear). The day before, we received a call saying the ferry had been cancelled because of expected 'bad weather'. Booked the Key West Express for a journey from Key West to Ft.
